As the North American Regional Editor of JICS, the Journal of Iranian Chemical Society, I am writing to introduce this periodical with the hope of stimulating your consideration to become intellectually engaged in one or more of its following activities. So, I beg your indulgence to read on further…..

 

JICS is a peer-reviewed periodical dedicated to the proliferation and dissemination of scholarly research results in the chemical sciences. Its Advisory Board is comprised of internationally stature peers from across the globe including two recent Nobel Laureates from the US and France.  The Editorial and Advisory Boards envisage the rapid growth and wide acceptance of the Journal as a viable source of educational and scholarly chemical sciences/engineering information worldwide, with its particular emphasis on supporting the chemical community in the third world. . Original Manuscript, Short Communication, comprehensive Review Articles and Letters to the Editor are among its main focus. I have personally contributed toward such periodicals over the years and been gratified of the impact when intelligent students refer to them during my institutional visits. It is in that spirit that I write to seek your gracious consideration to respond affirmatively to one or more of the following requests:

 

REVIEWER: Accept the invitation to serve as a periodical reviewer of not exceeding two papers per year.

CONTRIBUTOR: Submit your work for publication in of the aforementioned categories.

PROMOTION: Disseminate this announcement or pertinent JICS promotional materials among peers and print and on line media and other organizations.

INDEXING: Ensure the inclusion of upcoming JICS abstracts in appropriate compendium like the Chemical Abstract Service.

CITATIONS: Include JICS in your literature search schemes and cite its articles when relevant to your scholarly writings.

SUBSCRIPTION: Please consider subscribing to JICS

ADVERTISEMENT: Promote the inclusion of ads in JICS.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Provide details of upcoming technical meetings and conferences.
